Smoke and Mirrors from Voice2Page
By Paul • Dec 12th, 2007 • Category: Featured, News and CommentaryIn recent conversations with Larry Host at Voice2Page and NetAudioAds it is believed that they have no intention to be honest with prior affiliates nor the ones currently being recruited through the Pay Per Play medium. There are claims of advertisers already being on board with NetAudioAds and when asked for verification Mr Host resorted to threats of lawsuits and strong arm intimidation tactics.
If advertisers we behind this launch they should be more than willing to have a press release or point of contact for the alleged revolutionary product. When the contact names were asked for is when he resorted to threats.
The problem with the launch of PPP runs deeper than them ignoring the efforts of the previous affiliate pool. While the Pay Per Play camp may not have realized what they have walked into voice2page continues to sell a nonviable bill of goods.
While placing automatic audio players on sites such as Myspace may be cool it can never be taken as a serious advertising medium for mainstream advertisers. Especially if they are charged with each play. The majority of internet use is during normal working hours when people are not supposed to going to social networking sites or listening to ads on their computers. So either their volume is turned completely off or audio is not even available. Even most home users surf with the volume turned down to not be annoyed by obtrusive advertising. Any serious advertiser is aware of this fact if they do any due diligence.
I have contacted the mainstream corporations that they are claiming to have on board at Pay Per Play and NetAudioAds to verify if they have indeed placed advertising buys. Larry Host calls it tortuous interference, I call it discovering the truth since he is unwilling or unable to provide names and contacts for the current alleged media buys.
As soon as confirmation is made with these contact I will report on the truth. I really hope for the sake of those that are invested heavily in the Pay Per Play organization that these buys have really been made and the program lives up to the hype.

Paul,
Thanks for looking into this. I was introduced to the PPP system just yesterday and spent about 4 hours firing off emails to website owners to see if there is any interest. It now seems that I have jumped the gun and risk being humbled with embarrassment for my efforts.
Keep on searching for the truth here as I’m sure many folks are just now getting involved in this program.
Thanks Al,
Some other interesting things have developed about voice2page and them violating old affiliates privacy. I am preparing a story on it and it will be featured here.
I was willing to get behind this one if they addressed some concerns and instead took it as an opportunity to lash out. Many main stream bloggers and webmasters are coming forward and saying how this one is destined to flop.

Hi Paul,
This is amazing to me, that at the era of web2.0 and online buzz, one would dare lie (maybe not) without fear for reputation and trust!
More people should know about your articles- some tips: you need to enable social bookmarking from your site and heavily promote this conversation online yourself. I only stumbledupon you from scribd.
and get a more user friendly rss subscribe link, not: http://imscamalert.com/author/Paul%20Rushing/feed
maybe also a good old optin box for growing a fan list who can be updated on new posts by email.
good luck.
A known internet marketer risked his name promoting this PPP “after testing and checking out for himself”. He’s not gonna be the only one either.
Thanks for your suggestions. I was actually waiting to see if the site would be viable before spending much time on updating thing. I will probably go with a more professional theme and based on traffic counts and your suggestions I need to make those changes now instead of later.
The ultimate goal was have a forum and some other features that have not been implemented yet if the site was viable.
Nothing like not starting with the end in mind. <>
Happy Holidays….

voice2page steals money from their affiliates. I earned under $10 dollars from Mike Knox in the past & he never paid the commission out.

Well if you only earned less than $10 you never reached the minimum payout. Personally I do not feel that it is Mr Knox’s fault that affiliates have never been paid in the past.
whoops!
Hey Paul, I am looking for your follow up on this issue, in this article, I think you should have an answer by now! this is a copy paste from above article: ” I have contacted the mainstream corporations that they are claiming to have on board at Pay Per Play and NetAudioAds to verify if they have indeed placed advertising buys.”
So what’s the scoop?
The deal is Teresa HBO never bought advertising from them. Taco Bell never bought advertising at a corporate level neither did Harley Davidson or Burger King.
It just is redundant to keep pointing out the misconceptions they have used to launch this and really bores me. I have ignored this site long enough and need to start adding more content here.
The truth about this company is that there is not much that can be believed by them at this point.
